I am now open for face to face appointments at Natural Elements, 28 Ratby Road, Groby. Sport in Desford where I am usually based it currently inaccessible. I am following the government and Holistic Insurance guidelines and implementing the necessary safeguarding measures to keep both you and me safe.
I would like to assure you that I am closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and have procedures in place that follow the PHE (Public Health England) guidelines to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.
I have carried out a thorough risk assessment of Natural Elements. To be able to be seen face to face, strict Health & Safety measures are in place at the practice to mitigate risks for clients and the staff. These measures are necessary to reduce the risk of virus transmission. Please read and abide by the following measures.
Before attending your appointment, all clients will be sent screening questions to complete and return to me via email (). If this is not done, you will be asked to complete this before the appointment.
On arrival, please ring the doorbell. I will answer the door so there is no need for you to touch any more surfaces than necessary. Please wear a mask until you have reached the therapy room and maintain the 2 metres social distancing rules. You will be reminded of the procedures in place and safety measures which we have implemented for clients and staff, so you know what to expect.

I offer remote video consultations when the benefit of attendance is outweighed by the risk and if you do not feel comfortable to come to the practice.
I need your consent to face to face appointments.
We need consent to share client details with track and trace should they be requested in line with our civic duty.
You will not be allowed face to face appointments if:
You have confirmed OR suspected COVID-19 OR
You have or have had in the last 7 days symptoms of cold or flu like symptoms.
You live with OR have been in contact with confirmed OR suspected COVID -19 afflicted people OR have symptoms of the illness
You are considered high-risk and extremely vulnerable
You have travelled within the last 2 weeks
You live in the Leicester City Lock-down zone
I will wear a mask up to the therapy room where it will be removed here for the duration of the session and replaced when leaving the room. Gloves will be worn in accordance with the PHE guidelines. At no point will the client and I get within 2 metres of each other.
Clinic uniform will be laundered daily at high temperatures.
Social Distancing Measures taken at the practice
Arrive on time at your appointment; If you arrive too early, you may have to wait outside the practice.
Treatments sessions will be spaced out and with staggered times to avoid contact with other patients and to allow cleaning /disinfecting in between clients.
If you are accompanied, your companion will be asked to wait outside the clinic, except for minors and registered carers. This is to minimise the number of people in the clinic and allow us to maintain social distancing as much as possible.
What to bring and do before arriving at the practice
Please arrive wearing your personal mask or face-covering before entering the practice. This is as per government recommendations due to potentially being within 2 metres of someone outside of your household and in an enclosed space.
Keep your phone in your bag or coat
Arrive with as few belongings as possible
If possible, please use your own toilet before coming to the practice although our facilities will be open on request.
On arrival at the practice & within the practice
The main clinic door will be kept locked to minimise footfall so please ring the doorbell and I will let you in.
You will be asked to clean your hands as soon as you enter the practice with either sanitising gel or soap and water if you prefer.
We will take your temperature on arrival using a remote thermometer – if two readings above 38°C you will be asked to return home and contact 111 and follow their advice – I can convert your appointment to a remote consultation or reschedule to another day.
Please respect the 2 metres social distance as best possible.
Do allow your therapist to treat you like a superstar and open the doors for you to minimise touching any handles.
In the treatment room
All surfaces are wipe clean to allow disinfection
The windows will be opened to allow air to circulate.
Payment of Sessions and leaving
Payment is now via bank transfer or PayPal (details are on your welcome email).
On leaving the practice please feel free to use the sanitising gel before leaving the clinic.
Hygiene Standards practiced by the staff at the practice to minimise risk of transmission:
Therapists will clean and disinfect in between use, the couch, chairs and all touch points/surfaces/handles etc.
Therapists will be wearing a mask and will clean hands prior to and after the sessions
The toilet if it is to be used exceptionally, will be disinfected as regularly as possible during the day.
We have a heat exchange airflow pump in all of our treatment rooms ensuring a one way flow of air circulating through the room.
I regret that you will have to expect slightly less comfort as pillows, blankets, couch covers, etc…. and all our magazines at reception will have disappeared! The ' new normal ' for the moment sadly but necessary :(

Booking & Cancellation Policy
You are very important to me. I hold your appointment just for you and ask that if you must cancel or reschedule any appointment you let me know with at least 24-hour notice for cancellation.
I reserve the right to request pre-payment in full or a deposit for the treatment upon booking in order to secure the appointment slot for you.
I do, of course, understand that unavoidable issues come up and will do our best to work with you in case of an emergency.
Last minute cancellations or ‘no shows’ will be charged a cancellation fee each time. Here is our general breakdown of cancellation fees:
• Less than 24-hour notice will result in a charge up to £25 for each appointment.
• ‘NO SHOWS’ will be charged up to 100% of service amount
As a courtesy, we send you a reminder email (if email address provided at the time of booking) to confirm the date and time of your appointment.
Please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times in order to avoid missed appointments and cancellation fees. You are always welcome to call and double check any appointments if you’re unsure.
I will always try my best to accommodate you if you are running behind, stuck in traffic, etc. However, if you are late it can affect my following client. For this reason, I have set a few general ground rules for such situations.
Clients will generally be allowed a 5-10 minute grace period. If you can make it in time for your entire treatment to be completed, great! If not, you may have to reschedule your treatment. This will allow us to continue our allocated time slots for the next client to ensure they are not kept waiting for their appointment.
Please, always call if you even think you might be late; I’d rather know as early as possible so I can do my best to fit you in without upsetting the flow of the day. In this case, you will still be charged the original service(s) scheduled.
Here is a general breakdown of our late fees:
If the client arrives late but within the allotted time, but has to forgo some parts of the treatment 100% of the booked treatment charge will apply.
If the client does not arrive in time for the service to be completed, you will be charged up to 100% of the booked treatment.
Again, please remember that your appointments are reserved for you and only you. These policies allow us the opportunity to ensure the smooth running of my practice.
